Ad Posting Rules
To keep ListGarum safe and useful for everyone, all ads must follow these rules. Ads that violate them will be rejected or removed.
Post in the Right Category
- Choose the most relevant category for your ad - this helps buyers find it faster.
- Do not post the same item in multiple categories.
- Misplaced ads will be moved or removed by our team.
Write an Honest, Clear Title
- Your title must clearly describe what you are selling or offering.
- Do not use ALL CAPS, excessive punctuation (!!!), or spam keywords.
- Avoid vague titles like "Good stuff" or "Call me for details".
- Include key details: brand, model, size, or condition where relevant.
Set a Fair and Accurate Price
- Always include a price. Ads with "Call for price" will be reviewed.
- Set a realistic market price - inflated prices reduce buyer trust.
- If the price is negotiable, mention it in the description.
- Do not list free items with a price, or paid items as free.
Use Real Photos
- Upload clear, original photos of the actual item you are selling.
- Do not use stock images, screenshots, or images taken from the internet.
- Photos must not contain watermarks from other websites.
- At least one photo is strongly recommended for faster approval.
Prohibited Items
- Illegal goods or services of any kind.
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
- Counterfeit, pirated, or stolen goods.
- Prescription drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances.
- Adult content, escort services, or anything sexually explicit.
- Live animals (exotic, wild, or endangered species).
- Government-issued documents, IDs, or certificates.
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) or pyramid schemes.
No Duplicate Ads
- You may only post one ad per item at a time.
- Duplicate ads will be removed without notice.
- If your ad expires, use the free Relist feature instead of reposting.
- Multiple accounts used to post the same ad will be banned.
Accurate Contact & Location
- Provide a valid phone number or use our built-in messaging system.
- Set the correct location - buyers search by area.
- Do not include contact details inside the ad title or photos.
- Ads with fake or missing contact info will be rejected.
No Spam or Commercial Bulk Posting
- Personal sellers may post up to 10 active ads at a time.
- Commercial sellers or dealers must contact us for a business listing plan.
- Automated or bulk posting tools are strictly prohibited.
- Ads promoting other websites or services will be removed.
Breaking the rules?
Ads that violate these rules will be rejected or permanently removed. Repeat offenders will have their accounts suspended. If you see a suspicious ad, please report it - it helps keep the community safe.
